Indoor Soccer Season 2024/25
• All divisions will run on Saturdays at the ONTARIO SOCCER CENTRE (7601 Martin Grove Rd.)
• U11/12 Boys will play on Saturday in the Woodbridge Soccer Dome (7501 Martin Grove Rd.)
• U4/5 – U8 age groups will be run by WSC Technical Staff and include skills training.
• Program runs Saturdays from October 19th and runs until April 19th.
• All Players will receive a jersey, shorts and socks.
• The times may be subject to change.

Indoor House League Rules & Regulations
Rule 1 – The Field of Play
Consists of standard dimensions for the field, goals and markings as outlined per Facility.
Goal line, Touch Line and Goal area and Bench area – (Field Markings.)
Rule 2 – The Ball
U9 / U10 – Size 4
U12 –U14 use – Size 5
Rule 3 – The Number of Players
U9/10 and U12–U16 (7 Players) – Teams will play with 6 Players plus a Goalie.
WSC Administrative authority shall set the minimum and maximum number of players permitted on the field at the same time.
U9/10 and U12-U16 minimum to start a game is no fewer than 4 players and 1 goalkeeper.
Rule 4 – Substitutions
Each team is allowed UNLIMITED Substitutions. A substitution must be made at CENTRE. Teams can change on the fly or any STOPPAGE of play. Teams that have Player(s) come at various parts of the field will be subject to loss of possession at Centre touchline by the referee. Illegal substitution can result in a 2-minute Penalty at the Referee’s discretion.
Rule 5 – The Players’ Equipment
Club will supply Uniforms with Numbers – It is the sole responsibility of the Players to wear shin guards, and proper indoor footwear.
NOTE: (Metal studs are not allowed)
Shin Guards are Mandatory.
Jewelry and other accessories are not allowed. Earrings can’t be taped. Bracelets are allowed ONLY if they are a Medical Alert. Players/Coaches must alert Referees if players use Puffers for Medical Asthma during the match to prevent any health issues and safety to the players on and off the field.
The Goalkeeper wears a jersey that distinguishes them from all other players and the Referees.
Rule 6 – The Referee
The referee has the right to administer his Powers of Duty. The Referee’s decision is final. The decisions of the Referee regarding facts connected with play and interpretations of the Rules are final.
Rule 7 – The Duration of the Game
Games are regulated based on equal halves with a 3-minute break.
Each half will consist of 2 X 25 Minutes – Unless stoppage has been made by the Referee due to an Injury. Grace time to field team is 5 Minute grace period to field minimal number of players. Games that have been played 51% of them are deemed complete.
Any player on the bench or field will be allowed to the Penalty Kicks.
Penalty kicks to determine a winner will consist of 5 players of choice from each team. If still tied 1 plus 1 until game is decided.
Rule 8 – The Start and Restart of Play
Kickoff from Center or ball passed or touch by a player is deemed playable.
(A goal cannot be scored directly from a Kick-off or a Restart).
A player who starts to play may not play the ball the second time again until it touches another player. The team that wins the coin toss has a choice of ball or field.
When the ball passes the touchlines, the Restart is a kick in not throw in.
Restarts take place by either a Kickoff, Free Kick, Goalkeeper Distribution, or Dropped Ball. Teams on defensive restarts are required to give a 3-meter distance. The team taking the Free Kick must ensure the ball is stationary.
**There is No Retreat Line**
**SLIDING IS NOT Permitted when challenging an Opponent. **
Goalies can NOT kick the ball out of their hands. Play restarts once the ball moves forward by attacking player or the Goalkeeper distributes the ball by foot or roll the ball out with their hands.
Rule 9- The Ball in And Out of Play
The ball is In or Out of play if the whole ball legally crosses the Touch line or Goal line.
Rule 10 – The Method of Scoring
A team scores a goal when the whole ball legally passes over the Goal Line. A goal may not be scored directly from a Kickoff, Corner Kick, or a Restart unless it has touched a secondary player.
Mercy Rule if the team wins by more than 10 goals the score will be recorded as 6-0 win to discourage the players and teams.
Rule 11 – Fouls and Other Violations
A foul occurs when a player of either attacking or opposing commits the following in a manner that the
Referee deems careless, serious, reckless, or involving excessive force in Accordance with CSA /FIFA
(a) Kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
(b) Trips or attempts to trip an opponent
(c) Jumps at an opponent
(d) Charges or obstructs an opponent
(e) Strikes, elbows, or attempts to strike or elbow an opponent
(f) Pushes an opponent
(g) Plays in a dangerous manner slide-tackling)
(h) Holds an opponent
(i) Handles the ball (except by the Goalkeeper within his Penalty Arch)
A player who receives 2 Cautions or a Red Card dismissal must leave the team bench and playing area. Club administration will take the appropriate discipline action with the player by discipline action.
MANDATORY
Parents and spectators are not allowed on or around the field. They are to watch the game from the top at the Ontario Soccer Centre and at the Dome the parents are to be seated or standing opposite the team bench.
